Fund Accountant

Fund Accountant job at HedgeServ, a global organization with over 2,000 experts across the globe. The Fund Accountant will execute tasks within the fund accounting or NAV department, including reconciliation, trade capture, and pricing, and will work under the supervision and guidance of a Fund Accounting Supervisor and Fund Accounting Manager. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Requirements

• 1-3 years' experience in a similar role
• Accounting, Finance, Legal or Business Degree
• Min. 2.2 honors degree
• Intention to actively pursue a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA) is not required but would be an advantage
• IT Literate
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and well organized
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Ability to be flexible and work effectively both within a team structure and independently
• Strong inter-personal skills
• Good initiative tempered with identifying when escalation is required
• Reliable, dependable and committed
• Take ownership of designated tasks
• Act as a role model for HedgeServ
