Job Description
We are seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join our team at Whatley Quarry in Frome. The successful candidate will provide mechanical repair and maintenance skills, including fault identification and analysis, to facilitate repairs and improvements. They will work on rotating early and late shifts, 42.5 hours per week.
Requirements
- Computer literate with strong understanding of health, safety and quarry regulations
- Time-served apprentice or NVQ in Maintenance Engineering, or 5+ years' relevant maintenance experience
- Experience in the mineral extractives industry (advantageous)
- HNC or HND in Engineering (advantageous)
- Practical welding and burning skills
