Job Description
The CNC Machinist II is responsible for setting up, operating, and proving out programs on CNC machining centers to manufacture precision hydraulic manifolds. The role requires safely running unproven Mazatrol programs and ensuring parts meet dimensional, functional, and quality requirements.
Requirements
- Set up and operate 4-axis/5-axis Mazak CNC machining centers using the Mazatrol programming language.
- Load, review, and safely execute new or unproven programs.
- Validate first-piece hydraulic manifolds prior to full production.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and hydraulic port callouts.
- Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and work holding.
