Job Description
As a Field Service Engineer, you will maintain, commission, and support Siemens advanced EV charging technologies, ensuring optimal system performance and resolving technical issues. You will also provide training to customers and collaborate closely with engineering teams.
Requirements
- City & Guilds Level 3, HND/HNC, or equivalent technical qualification
- Experience with commissioning and/or field service engineering
- Strong knowledge of electrical installations and PLC systems
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities
- Knowledge of – or willingness to learn – EV charging protocols
- Familiarity with CAN communication systems
- Willingness to learn local and national safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Basic Linux command-line knowledge (or willingness to learn)
- Valid driving license
- Willingness to travel, including occasional international work
