Job Description
Helm Health is a Series A start-up transforming health insurance with "Dynamic Copay". We're seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Frontend team and build and maintain backend services that power member-facing web products.
Requirements
- 4+ years building, owning, and maintaining backend services
- Go proficiency
- TypeScript proficiency
- Experience with PostgreSQL and at least one NoSQL data store (Firestore preferred)
- Docker/Kubernetes
- Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with authentication and authorization patterns (OAuth, JWT, session management)
- Experience with API security practices, including rate limiting, input validation, and security hardening
