Job Description
Assistant Teacher role at a Day Care/Early Learn program for children impacted by homelessness in the Bronx. Assist in preparation and facilitation of educational curriculum, development and implementation of lesson plans, and ensuring classroom learning centers meet regulations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent with NYS Teaching Assistant Certification preferred
- Assist in preparation and facilitation of educational curriculum
- Development and implementation of lesson plans and daily program activity schedules
- Maintain equipment and report damaged or unsafe equipment
