As House Manager, you will supervise Residential Aides, conduct initial intakes for new clients, and foster positive working relationships with Social Services, Maintenance, and other Team Members. You will also develop your team, conduct regular inspections of the facility, and provide excellent customer service to clients experiencing homelessness and mental illness.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent OR equivalent experience and skills
- FDNY F80 Fireguard Certificate required (60-day allowance to obtain)
- Prior supervisory experience and experience working in residential facilities
- Capacity to work with people experiencing homelessness and mental illness or other disadvantaged people
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to skillfully manage interpersonal relationships
- Ability to effectively conduct interviews with clients and create clear, concise, and accurate documentation
- Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office applications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Ability to provide night and weekend coverage as needed
