Job Description
As a Recreation Specialist, you will work with school-age children in a family shelter, leading activities such as STEM projects, arts and crafts, and homework help, while maintaining a safe environment and participating in community outreach. You will work under the supervision of the Recreation Coordinator and be responsible for performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Creative and responsible individual
- Proven experience in supporting children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities
- Valid US driver's license
- Associate's degree
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience with ABA-informed methods (optional)
