The Community Engagement Specialist will develop and implement community engagement strategies to strengthen family and community connections. This position is responsible for cultivating and empowering family leadership, building and sustaining relationships between families and communities, and working to remove barriers while creating bridges that foster community success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
- At least one (1) year of experience in community engagement, family support, or related work focused on strengthening family and community connections.
- Competency to work with the various ethnic/cultural groups in the target area/community.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to succeed independently within a fast-paced, dynamic, and sometimes unpredictable work environment.
- U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident status.
- Valid Class C driver’s license. Current auto insurance coverage and good driving record.
- Ability to pass background check and criminal clearance.
