Job Description
The Patient Safety Attendant (Nurse Aide) provides continuous observation and non-clinical support for high-risk patients within the acute care hospital setting. The role ensures the safety of patients who may be at risk for falls, self-harm, or wandering due to cognitive impairment or medical conditions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Entry-level: Willing to train individuals with a strong desire to work in healthcare
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or behavioral health setting (preferred)
