The Tax Manager for North America plays a critical role in shaping the tax strategy and ensuring compliance excellence across a complex multi-entity environment. This position offers the opportunity to lead all federal and state tax matters for the region, influence key financial decisions, and partner directly with senior leadership to drive operational and strategic tax outcomes.
Requirements
- Maintain a comprehensive tax calendar and ensure all statutory deadlines are met.
- Prepare and/or manage the preparation of federal and state income tax returns, including extensions and estimated tax payments.
- Manage tax audits and inquiries from state and federal tax authorities.
- Manage third-party vendors for sales, use, and property taxes.
- Calculate income tax provisions for monthly and annual financial reporting.
- Develop, document, and monitor internal controls over tax processes.
- Reconcile tax-related general ledger accounts monthly.
- Serve as primary point of contact for state and federal tax authorities.
- Coordinate with internal Finance, Legal, and external advisors on tax matters impacting North America.
