Job Description
Hendrick Motorsports is seeking a highly motivated Race Engineer Intern to support NASCAR Race Engineers, Car Chiefs, and Crew Chiefs in car preparation, data analysis, and fuel mileage from race events.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a 4-year collegiate program pursuing an Engineering related degree, or currently possess an Engineering or technical related degree
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact well with others
- Must be a team player and have a high level of integrity
- Must possess ability to work a flexible schedule
- Must possess thorough understanding of race cars, components and engineering concepts related to race cars
- Must possess solid tool, technical and computer skills
- Must possess strong attention to detail and the ability to problem solve
- Prefer prior experience with Engineering related software and programs
- Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
- Must be at least a sophomore or second year student in the degree program being pursued
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
