Job Description
JOIN OUR TEAM AS A LEAD COLLECTION SPECIALIST! As the Collection Specialist, you will be responsible for the timely follow-up and collection of payment, including third party payer receivables. You will also provide excellent customer service and work closely with the Business Office Manager to maximize reimbursement and minimize aging of receivables.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- A minimum of two (2) years of collection experience in a healthcare setting is required or any combination of education, training, or experience in a business office environment.
- Working knowledge and understanding of insurance rules and regulations is needed.
- Basic familiarity with MS Excel.
