Job Description
The Compensation Specialist helps develop and manage the Company’s pay structures, salary benchmarking, and incentive programs to ensure competitive, equitable, and compliant compensation planning and administration.
Requirements
- Review compensation surveys and trends to ensure market pay competitiveness.
- Develop and maintain salary matrixes and pay ranges based on the Company’s compensation philosophy and structure.
- Develop and maintain job descriptions and job architecture.
- Analyze position responsibilities to determine appropriate classification and compensation.
- Lead or support annual compensation cycles, including merit increases, bonus programs, and long-term incentives.
- Ensure programs comply with federal, state, and local labor laws (e.g., FLSA).
- Create reports, dashboards, and analytical models for senior management.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to provide guidance on compensation decisions.
- Participate in compensation surveys, conduct ongoing research and analysis on market competitiveness, pay equity, and compensation trends.
