Cardiovascular Technologist

Hennepin Healthcare has a current opening for a Cardiovascular Technologist in the Cath Lab. The full-time position will work day shifts and on-call per unit policy. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible external candidates.

Requirements

• Accepts patients and assesses their condition to determine proper handling and special requirements
• Monitors patient for changes in hemodynamic status and reports to physician
• Maintains current knowledge/certification
• Relies on extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and effects of disease
• Maintains catheterization laboratory equipment in proper working condition. Reports malfunctions and necessary repairs to supervisory personnel
• Maintains stock inventory and initiates orders
• Performs assigned responsibilities/duties required by the cardiac catheterization laboratory
• Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a department/ unit team intra- and inter-departmentally to facilitate the department’s/ unit’s ability to meet its goals and objectives
