Job Description
We are seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to join our Microbiology team at Hennepin Healthcare. The role will assist in implementing and maintaining laboratory processes and procedures, and promote high standards for laboratory staff. The full-time role will work days, with the possibility of covering into the evening and coming in early to meet with night shift.
Requirements
- Communicates to the staff organizational and operational goals/initiatives
- Maintains department operating budget, supplies, staffing productivity and equipment use
- Hires and performs supervisory duties
- Develops and coordinates staff competency assessments and goal setting
- Maintains reliability, functionality, and safety of all test systems
