Laboratory Supervisor - Microbiology

We are seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to join our Microbiology team. This full-time role will work days, with the possibility of covering into the evening and coming in early to meet with night shift.

Requirements

• Communicates to the staff organizational and operational goals/initiatives through daily huddles, staff meetings, and attends required laboratory and organizational staff meetings
• Is trained and competent to perform bench duties as required
• Maintains department operating budget, supplies, staffing productivity and equipment use
• Hires and performs supervisory duties including but not limited to: coaching, discipline, implementation of performance improvement plans, when needed, and facilitating staff performance feedback
