Cloud Developer

Role Overview

The Cloud Developer builds from the ground up to meet the needs of mission-critical applications, and is always looking for innovative approaches to deliver end-to-end technical solutions to solve customer problems. The role is designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office. The Cloud Developer provides business value expertise to drive the development of innovative service offerings that enrich HPE's Cloud Services portfolio across multiple systems, platforms, and applications.

What You Will Do

You will be developing cloud applications, developing and releasing cloud applications in production environment, and working closely with Product Marketing to understand requirements and translate those into design and implementation.

Why It Might Be a Fit

You should have experience in working with Agile Methodology, multi-year experience with Python, Golang, and Java, knowledge of RDBMS (Postgres) and NoSQL (Cassendra, ElasticSearch, Kairos DB, etc.), and experience in designing cloud applications using distributed cache and experience of using Redis, Hazelcast and similar products.

Requirements

• BS or MS level in Computer Science or related fields
• 5+ years software development experience
• Experience in working with Agile Methodology
• Multi-year experience with Python, Golang, and Java
• Knowledge of RDBMS (Postgres) and NoSQL (Cassendra, ElasticSearch, Kairos DB, etc.)
• Experience in designing cloud applications using distributed cache and experience of using Redis, Hazelcast and similar products
• Experience in distributed streaming platforms like Kafka
