Cloud Developer III

Role Overview

The Cloud Developer builds from the ground up to meet the needs of mission-critical applications and is always looking for innovative approaches to deliver end-to-end technical solutions to solve customer problems. This role requires strong ownership of end-to-end features and the ability to provide technical leadership or assistance to other engineers.

What You Will Do

Analyzes feature specifications and determines required coding, testing, and integration activities. Designs and develops moderate to complex cloud-native application modules per feature specifications, adhering to security policies. Owns features end-to-end, from design and development through deployment, observability, and ongoing support.

Strong system thinker who anticipates downstream effects, scalability, and operational trade-offs. Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Strong focus on observability, including logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or closely related quantitative discipline
• Typically 4–6 years of experience building cloud-native services, with a strong microservices mindset
• Strong experience building cloud-native, production-grade services using a microservices architecture
• Strong hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes in production environments
• Production-grade programming experience in Python or Go
• Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end features, with a track record of delivering complex systems
