HPC Technical Consultant, Onsite (ORNL) Oakridge, TN

We are seeking an HPC Technical Consultant to join our on-site team at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee. The role involves routine repairs and maintenance on HPE's supercomputers, troubleshooting hardware issues, and interacting with ticket systems. The position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with hand tools, and experience with computer hardware and datacenters. Requirements

• US Citizenship required
• Onsite daily work required
• M-F, 8am to 5pm or 7am to 4pm work schedule
• Ability to lift and move parts and equipment up to 50 lbs individually and up to 75 lbs with another person
• Occasional operation of pallet jack to move inventory
• Familiarity with hand tools
• Experience with computer hardware and datacenters preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude
