Senior Data Scientist

Senior Data Scientist at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, responsible for applying machine learning algorithms to wireless and wired network data, taking ownership of existing AI Insight modules, and validating telemetry data. The role involves working with experienced data scientists and domain experts to redefine the "Intelligent Edge" and create new customer experiences across intelligent spaces and digital workspaces.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another data-oriented discipline
• Four to Ten years industry experience as data scientist
• Expert python coder
• Fluent user of Apache Spark
• Working knowledge of data structures (array, maps, trees, stacks, queues) and algorithms (recursion, dynamic programming, backtracking)
• Working knowledge of machine learning algorithms (linear regression, decision trees, random forests, clustering, anomaly detection)
• Descriptive statistics (central tendency, variability, distribution)
• Gen AI - Deep understanding of LLMs and fine-tuning LLMs
• Agentic AI
• Clear technical communication
• Ability and willingness to learn quickly
