Software Engineer - UI/UX Developer

Software Engineer - UI/UX Developer role at HPE Operations, responsible for designing and developing user interface portions and subsystems of hybrid cloud software, collaborating with a project team to develop reliable and high-quality user interface solutions, and mentoring less-experienced frontend developers and UX designers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent.
• Typically 6-10 years of expert-level experience in frontend development and UI/UX design.
• Proven experience with enterprise cloud environments and technical support tool development.
• Expert-level proficiency in ReactJS, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design frameworks.
• Strong experience with Python programming for backend integration and API development.
• Advanced expertise in UI/UX design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite) and mockup creation.
• Experience with micro-frontend architectures, cloud-native development, and hybrid cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of enterprise monitoring solutions, network management tools, and technical support workflows.
• Frontend testing methodologies, including automated testing, debugging tools, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Experience with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with focus on user experience optimization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate design proposals and technical solutions to TSE, PEAK team members, and management levels.
