SW Engineering Manager

The software engineering manager role involves leading a team of skilled professional engineers in qualifying solutions and use-cases for HPE customers. The manager will be responsible for planning project work, managing a team of professionals, promoting best practices, hiring talented professionals, and maintaining a high-performance team. The role requires excellent leadership qualities, technical knowledge, and communication skills.

• Should have expert level knowledge on Juniper Products
• B.S or M.S in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 13+ years of experience in networking industry including experience in leading and managing technical professional team of engineers
• Strong knowledge on Juniper Networks products and solutions
• The candidate must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience with other vendor routers like Cisco, Alcatel router/switch
• Working knowledge of UNIX; proficiency in a scripting language, such as Perl, Expect, would be a plus
• Experience in various test methodologies white box, black box, solution testing is desirable
• Certification like JNCIS or equivalent would be highly desirable
