Job Description
Hexcel is seeking a Quality Engineering Intern to support risk evaluation, risk mitigation and process monitoring activities, assist Quality Engineers with Corrective Action Systems, and identify and implement composite manufacturing improvements.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program with minimum of 2 years completed at an accredited college or university in Engineering or other related field with curriculum such as: Statics, Dynamics, Strength of Materials, Calculus, or Statistics.
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Ability to multi task effectively within a team environment in managing priorities.
- Passionate about aerospace, manufacturing and innovation
- Ability to work independently, learn new tasks/handle multiple tasks, solve problems, meet deadlines, and show strong self-motivation and initiative.
- Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
- Proficient use of, MS-Excel, MS-Word and MS-Power Point
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Eligible candidate must be: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, a person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, a temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Act, a person admitted in refugee status, a person granted asylum
