Job Description
HeyGen is seeking a Backend Engineer to develop core systems and infrastructure for their visual storytelling platform. The role focuses on building scalable, reliable, and efficient backend systems, with a focus on data, streaming, and machine learning. Collaboration with product engineers and AI researchers is crucial to creating high-performing systems.
Requirements
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient foundational systems.
- Forge the next generation of data systems.
- Construct the ML training infrastructure to enhance AI researchers’ productivity, and inference systems to optimize video GenAI.
- Establish the bedrock to empower our avatar video capabilities.
- Create developer tools to enhance velocity.
- Work closely with product engineers and AI researchers to deliver best performant systems.
- Monitor backend systems for performance, errors, and anomalies.
- Maintain high code quality through regular code reviews.
