Job Description
The School-Based Senior Clinician is responsible for providing clinical consultation and counseling services to students and their families in a school setting.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in mental health (Master of Social Work, Master of Arts in Counseling, Master of Mental Health Counseling, Master of Marriage and Family Therapy, MS Ed. Counseling)
- Licensure strongly preferred
- 2 plus years' experience supervising professional field-based staff in school-based programs preferred
- 3 plus years' experience working within or managing programs serving youth and families
- Strong communication (verbal and written with proficiency in English) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to approach challenges in a supportive and creative manner
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Commitment to working from a strengths-based perspective
- Commitment to ongoing learning and development, proven use of supervision to improve practice
- Capacity to approach conflict in caring manner
- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely fashion
- Ability to balance multiple competing demands
