9-10th Grade Spanish Teacher (26-27 SY)

High Tech High seeks a High School Spanish Teacher to join the teaching team at one of its six high schools. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, exceptional administrative and organization skills, and proficiency in teaching strategies and methods. The position requires a valid California Teaching Credential or out-of-state teaching license, and a Bachelor's Degree.

• Embodies High Tech High's design principles of Equity, Personalization, Authentic Work and Collaborative Design in all work activities and actions
• Creates daily lesson plans with project-based assignments that are engaging, educational and exciting for the kids
• Plans, prepares and delivers instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences
• Grades assignments and homework regularly to keep students updated on how they are doing
• Identifies students who are struggling with learning, emotional problems, or situations at home, and finds them the resources they need
