Special Education Academic Coach I

High Tech High, a chain of charter schools, is seeking a Special Education Academic Coach I. This role involves providing individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they have access to general education curriculum, and fostering a positive learning environment. The position is part-time and hourly.

Requirements

• Assist teachers with one-to-one student instruction
• Assist with instruction and supervision of learning differences
• Monitor student progress and provide input for evaluation
• Build rapport with students to improve their behavior and performance
• Perform clerical support duties like typing, document creation, and record keeping
