Medical Director of Psychiatry – Correctional Facility – Pittsburgh, PA

The Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Psychiatry & Behavioral Health Institute is seeking a full-time board-certified adult psychiatrist to lead the Allegheny County Jail's behavioral health services, balancing safety, security, and quality care within budget objectives. The incumbent will collaborate with healthcare and correctional administration, train and supervise psychiatry resident physicians, and provide administrative direction in behavioral health policy and procedure.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare environment
• 1 year of supervisory or administrative experience
• Completion of ACGME-approved Psychiatry residency
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
• Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
