Job Description
Join Hightop Health, a physician-led practice, as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to provide holistic, collaborative care at the Roots Behavioral Health Clinic in Austin, Texas.
Requirements
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients.
- Diagnose and treat mental illnesses and disorders.
- Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans.
- Refer interventional treatments as appropriate.
- Prescribe medications and monitor effectiveness, side effects, and patients' preferences.
- Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
