Director of Engineering

Highway is a fintech company focused on building banking products. As a Director of Engineering, you will provide technical leadership across all engineering and development areas, ensuring that our products are secure, scalable, and innovative.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Director of Engineering, Head of Engineering, or senior engineering leader in technology or fintech
• Strong background in software development, system architecture, and technical strategy
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute engineering strategies that support business growth
• Hands-on experience in leading product development and launching scalable solutions
• Excellent leadership, team management, and mentoring skills with a track record of building high-performing engineering teams
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to partner across functions and influence stakeholders
• Experience maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Solid knowledge of modern engineering practices (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud platforms)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
