Job Description
Join Hillel UGA as our next Campus Rabbi to help shape a vibrant, welcoming, and dynamic Jewish community at the University of Georgia. As a Jewish leader on campus, you will build meaningful relationships with students, foster spiritual connection, and bring Jewish life to the forefront through creativity, authenticity, and care.
Requirements
- Rabbinic ordination (or equivalent experience in Jewish spiritual leadership)
- Experience in community building, outreach, and experiential Jewish education (campus work, youth movements, camps, etc.)
- A demonstrated ability to engage students in meaningful conversations about Judaism, identity, and Israel in an open and approachable way
- A passion for building inclusive, pluralistic Jewish community
- Creativity, initiative, and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
- Flexibility to work evenings, Shabbat, weekends, and holidays as part of campus life
