High school diploma, completion of pre-employment testing, and passing a background investigation including criminal, reference, employment, and neighborhood checks; polygraph; medical evaluation; and drug screening

High school diploma, 2 years experience in maintenance, repair, and installation of refrigeration, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment

High school diploma, valid certification as a Correctional Officer, and successful completion of pre-employment testing

High school diploma or GED, valid certification as a law enforcement officer, and successful completion of pre-employment testing and the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Physical Abilities Assessment

High school diploma, 3 years of experience in skilled trades, or 2 years of experience as a Multi-Trades Worker I

Completion of 10th grade, successful completion of background investigation, and no felony convictions

4 years of experience as a skilled trades worker in two or more trades, or 2 years of experience as a Multi-Trades Worker II with Hillsborough County
