BEHAVIORAL SPECIALIST (PRN)

Responsible for the direct supervision of children and implementing adequate standards of institutional care. Requires an advanced knowledge of behavioral sciences and ability to provide direction and guidance to children. Must be able to work with families and caseworkers to ensure good treatment for children at home and at Hillside.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a discipline related to client and adolescent mental health field
• Training and certification in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
• Training in the NCI program and techniques
• One to two years of experience in a similar environment (school work study programs may apply)
• Two to three years of experience without degree
