Job Description
Hillside is seeking a Teacher I Special Education to prepare, plan, and deliver specially designed classroom instruction to Hillside’s students. The role involves supporting students with diverse needs, implementing IEPs, and collaborating with related service providers. The position focuses on creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements
- New York State Teaching Certificate in Special Education N-6, K-12 or 7-12 with content area specialty.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Unrestricted, valid NYS driver’s license.
- Must be able to work a variable scheduling, including evenings and weekends.
