Job Description
Hillside is seeking a Youth Care Professional III to deliver relationship-based, trauma-informed solutions to youth and families. The role involves mentoring and training staff, managing youth activities, and performing shift charge responsibilities. This position requires independent problem-solving and maintaining a positive environment for youth.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 18+ months of work experience in residential care environment
- CPR certification or obtained within 60 days
- Valid NYS driver's license (1+ year clean driving record)
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Experience with emergency response
- Understanding of therapeutic crisis intervention (TCI) protocols
