Receiving and Inventory Control Clerk (Days)

Hilmar Cheese Company is seeking a Receiving and Inventory Control Clerk to improve lives around the world through wholesome dairy products. The position is responsible for receiving raw material items, inspecting inbound materials, gathering documentation, and providing prompt and courteous service to internal and external customers.

Requirements

• Receiving all raw material items scheduled for WHEY dock
• Inspecting all inbound materials to ensure product conformity and quality standards
• Gathering, organizing, and disseminating necessary documentation
• Accurately processing receipts and other documentation for inventory control
• Providing prompt and courteous service to all internal and external customers
• Direct material movements to all plants for daily production
• Maintaining a computerized inventory system
• Demonstrating organizational skills and compliance with deadlines
• Operating a forklift and hand truck
• Coaching and training teammates
• Participating in on the job training and training and development program
• Understanding and executing HCC’s food safety and sanitation policies and procedures
• Prioritizing safety above all other job duties
