Events Manager

The Events Manager is responsible for the successful event planning and overall execution of all Conference & Events that take place within the hotel, including interacting with customers and Guests, building relationships, and developing a culture of high quality standards.

Requirements

• Maximise all Meeting & Events Sales revenue opportunities through up selling of function items
• Ensure the highest standards of Event Management are in place
• Manage the department’s day-to-day operations and activities
• Develop strong relationships with customers, Guests and Team Members
• Accurate administration and control of all Meetings and Events related reservations and blocks
• Attend Sales events, as required
• Support other properties within the Cluster as required
• Contribute to the selling strategy of the hotel and manage the departments’ adherence to achieving that strategy
• Review business plans and identify gaps to fill capacity and meet set targets
