The Sales Manager supports the overall strategic management of the hotel by establishing effective working relationships with senior colleagues and maintaining corporate standards, brand integrity, and hotel image.
Requirements
- Implement sales action plans related to the respective market
- Actively participate in achieving departmental goals
- Monitor accounts revenue and business production
- Maximize up-selling opportunities
- Assist in forecasting rooms' revenue and ATR
- Attend major travel functions and promotional events
- Plan sales trips and meet with key accounts
- Gather information on competitors and report to the Director of Sales
- Maintain client relationships and overall business goals
- Conduct hotel inspections and plan next steps
- Negotiate with accounts on banquet and outside catering events
- Develop increased room nights and banquet revenue
- Maintain close co-ordination with respective departments on organizer's requirements
- Oversee the operation of banquet functions and ensure quality service is delivered
- Regularly review Master A/C postings and verify total charges
- Establish and maintain files of major accounts and assist in maintaining the accounts management system
- Establish good working relationship with internal and external customers
- Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities
