Job Description
The Mathematics Instructor will teach undergraduate classes in Mathematics, academic advise students, manage course grading and records, and participate in department-wide program development and assessment. The position is a primarily day time position with 35 scheduled hours.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Mathematics or related field, with 18 graduate hours in Mathematics
- 18 graduate hours in Mathematics
- Teach 15-17 hours of undergraduate classes in Mathematics each term
- Academic advising of students
- Manage course grading and records management
- Contribute to department-wide program development and assessment
- Participate in student recruitment and retention efforts
- Participate in professional development activities and contribute to the general college community
- Maintain regular, required office hours to be available and meet with students
