Paralegal

Hinman, Howard & Kattell, LLP is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented litigation paralegal to join our Binghamton, New York office. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation.

Requirements

• Draft, edit, and format litigation documents under attorney supervision
• Assist with preparation of pleadings, discovery materials, correspondence, and exhibits
• Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files
• Track deadlines and maintain attorney calendars to ensure compliance with court schedules and filing requirements
• Coordinate scheduling of depositions, court appearances, meetings, and closings
• Prepare documents for filing and assist with state and federal e-filing processes
• Research court rules and filing requirements as needed
• Open new matters and maintain accurate case records
• Respond to internal and external requests for information
• Provide general litigation support including word processing, time entry, filing, and telephone coverage
• Provide additional administrative and litigation support as needed
