We are looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, and support business decision-making. This is a hands-on role that requires strong accounting fundamentals, insurance or financial services experience, and the ability to work independently without constant direction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Insurance brokerage, commercial insurance, or financial services experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Comfortable learning and operating Applied Epic or similar agency management and accounting systems
- Clear written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to work US Central Time business hours
- High attention to detail, strong follow-through, and the ability to work independently
- Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-oriented with the flexibility to take on varied tasks as business needs evolve
