Job Description
We are looking for an Automation Engineer to join our Research & Development department. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for conception, programming, and optimization of varied PLC projects in fuel cell system construction.
Requirements
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics or a similar field
- At least 3 years of practical experience with Beckhoff TwinCAT3, and experience with HMI development
- Experience with programming in standards such as IEC 61131-3 (e.g. Structured Text), using version control (Git)
- Knowledge and experience with common bus systems and corresponding industrial data transmission (e.g. Modbus, EtherCAT, CAN, RS232, TCP/IP, MQTT)
- Sound knowledge of safety programming and security best practices
- Willingness to travel occasionally (once or twice per year)
- Good German (at least B2) and fluent English (at least C1)
