Job Description
The Medical Review Officer shall be a licensed physician, M.D. or D.O., who is knowledgeable about controlled substances abuse disorders, including knowledge of alternative medical explanations for laboratory confirmed drug test results.
Requirements
- Licensure as a M.D. or D.O.
- Demonstrated experience with drug abuse disorders
- Thorough knowledge of applicable state and federal rules, laws, and regulations
- Knowledge of pharmacology and toxicology of legally prescribed and illegal drugs
