Acoustic Engineer

Join Hitachi Energy's HVDC business unit as an Acoustic Engineer and contribute to enabling the green energy transition. The role involves analyzing noise propagation, suggesting mitigations, and supporting the organization in the acoustic area. The ideal candidate has a background in acoustics, soundPLAN experience, and a keen interest in mechanics, climate, and electrical aspects.

Requirements

• Evaluating acoustics through calculations, modelling, and 3D simulations of noise propagation.
• Performing on-site measurements to verify calculations and fulfillment of requirements.
• Working in a multidisciplinary technical environment where mechanical, climate, and electrical considerations are necessary.
• Converting theoretical results into reality in actual design suggestions in cooperation with equipment and civil construction responsible.
• Supporting business units in the acoustic area.
