Controls Engineer II

Role Overview

Join JR Automation as a Controls Engineer II in Lake Orion, MI, working with talented engineers to design and implement innovative automation solutions. This role will enable you to perfect your controls experience and integrate state-of-the-art robotics and technology.

What You Will Do

Design, implement, and document controls systems for automated equipment, troubleshoot robot controllers, and perform machine power up, debug, and programming.

Why It Might Be a Fit

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience is required, with solid experience with Siemens TIA Portal and experience with PLC's, HMI's, Robotics, Mechatronics, Motion Control, Vision Systems, and/or Programming preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Current or prior JR Automation experience
• Solid experience with Siemens TIA Portal
• Experience with PLC's, HMI's, Robotics, Mechatronics, Motion Control, Vision Systems, and/or Programming
• Experience with CAD (i.e. AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks)
• Ability to understand electrical/pneumatic schematic drawings
