Field Service Engineer

The Field Service Engineer will perform on-site installation, repair, and modification of GCB, GIS, and TR, carrying out tasks of medium to high difficulty in accordance with work instructions. They will also support troubleshooting on an emergency basis and follow Hitachi Energy Processes, manuals, instructions, quality standards, and HSE standards.

Requirements

• Degree in electrical or mechanical background
• Proficiency in spoken and read English
• Ability to work in a customer-focused and solution-oriented approach
• Self-driven and working under own ownership
• Socially competent to lead co-workers on-site
• Ability to work on-site within Japan or abroad with travel >70-80%
• Compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
