Internship in Surrogate Modelling of Power Converters 80 - 100% (f/m/d)

The System and Automation team at the Swiss research center is looking for an intern student with expertise in machine learning, computational science, or power electronics to contribute to the development of next generation of power converters for energy storage, renewables, and data-center applications.

Requirements

• Enrolled in an MSc program in Machine Learning, Applied mathematics or Computational science, Control and Automation Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field
• Solid background in applied machine-learning techniques, computational science, or control for power electronics converters
• Experience in Python programming and / or simulation tools for power electronics design and control (Simulink, PSCAD, PLECS) is strongly appreciated
• Excellent communication skills, team player attitude, initiative, and creativity
• Fluency in English, written and spoken
