R&D Engineer

Hitachi Energy is seeking a R&D Engineer to lead Global Product Support for SF6 and EconiQ CB portfolio at EUHV ratings. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of R&D experience, including 2+ years of circuit breaker development experience, and a Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering. The role involves mechanical and structural design, root cause analysis, and reliability engineering.

Requirements

• Master's degree or above in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or other related majors
• 5 years and above R&D Experience and includes 2 years of Circuit breaker development experience in key role
• Familiar with surface treatment on different materials (aluminum, steel, copper etc.) and composite material
• Solid knowledge on HV CB product and understanding of the correlation between mechanical, and insulation performance, etc.
• Basic knowledge on reliability engineering
