Senior Mechanical Engineer

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Global Engineering Center, Vadodara, India. The role involves developing standardized design modules and a configurable product portfolio for modular transformer design.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 09–12 years of experience in design engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and driven ownership.
• Open to change, feedback, and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., Creo).
• Knowledge of Lean Engineering or Design for Configuration principles.
• Proven experience in modular design and product standardization.
• Experience in modulation processes.
• Experience in CPLM is must.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
