The Information Technology Manager (Project Management Office) will play a key role in operating and enhancing ITO's PMO function, leading or overseeing the entire life cycle of software development projects, infrastructure projects, and reporting to ITO colleagues and senior management on project progress, risks, and issues.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related discipline
- Minimum 8 years of professional IT experience, with at least 4 years in a project/program management, risk management, or PMO leadership role
- Demonstrated track record of successful project recovery, risk mitigation, and process improvement in complex and multifaceted environments
- In-depth technical understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, application development, and strategic IT planning
- Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and risk management frameworks
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Professional certifications strongly preferred: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent
- Experience conducting training and mentoring for project teams and technical staff
- Strong documentation skills and proficiency with project management and risk tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA)
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
